Current Favourites

Tuesday 11 March 2014

I was going to do a February favorites, but since I missed out on that opportunity (whoops) today I'll just be writing a current favourite post. This are items I've collected over Feb or the start of March which I've loved, If you're interested in any of the items and want to know more of a review, feel free to comment :)

Jelly shoes - Primark, £4
I bought these the other day and I'm so in love with them already. They are so comfy.. I opted for the flat ones instead of the slightly heeled ones after much debate in the store. But for the sake of 4 quid.. I might just go pick up some more! I've been living in these since I got them because they are so lovely to walk around in!

Seventeen - Phwoar Paint
I picked this after I saw a few beauty bloggers raving about this.. and they were right, I love it. I'm really into thick creamy concealers as I just prefer the coverage they give and this does not disappoint! Although it is an 'under eye' concealer, I do actually use this in some other places on my face when I have breakouts (which due to my university hand-in I have a fair few) and it actually works really well.
I also love the pale colour of this product as its perfect for my pale skin!

MUA - Pro Brow
I picked this up the other day when I popped into Superdrug.. I did try to pick up the highlighter that I've seen around the blogging world and I wanted to try that.. but unfortunately (as always) they were sold out.. so I picked up this instead! I've been after a brow kit for a while as I've wanted some gel fixer to see if that would help me out in the brow department, so far I really like it. The dark brown colour however is abit too dark for me and I have pretty dark eyebrows. But for the price of £2.50! I think its so worth it!

Walgreens Lip balm?
I have no idea what this was called as my housemate brought it me back from New York. It's a watermelon lip balm, similar to the EOS lip balms and I love this. I've worn it down so much. It tastes like watermelon, and smell's like watermelon! I'm forever using this and my lips are so much nicer now I've been using it. I was forever chewing my lips which is a nightmare for lipsticks. It's so handy and compact and looks cool too. I will be so sad when this runs out.

Rimmel Salon Pro
I bought the purple one a few weeks back to top up my nails and I loved it so much, I picked up this pastel pink one the other day. What I really like about these nail polishes' are the brushes.. They apply so lovely because the brush is so flat and (bushy?) but they have a gel like finish which is lovely. Just need to get my nails done again so I can do these some justice!

Yankee Candle, Tart Melts
I don't really see myself being without these anymore. Since I've tried them I've been seriously addicted. They make my room smell so wonderful. I've been saving the labels so I know what scent's I've tried.. which is kind of sad but *shrugs* My fave has still been Bahama Breeze.. once I have enough money I will definitely buy myself the large candle in that scent.. *sigh*

Modern Family - Netflix
My friend from uni introduced me to this programme the other day and once I discovered it was on netflix, I haven't gone back. I have literally watched this every day. It;s becoming an addiction.. is there a programme rehab, because I seriously need to enroll.. It's so hilarious, I love it.. I feel so behind though as this came out ages ago..
